Year of the Amphibian
What is paradise for a fourteen-year-old boy? For Conrad it's definitely not dusty Los Angeles, where he's stuck living with his mother and his cheeky little sisters. Paradise is the forest where his dad still lives, by the water where everything is beautiful, where he belongs.

The US Review of Books

This coming-of-age story will strike home for many readers. It's one that a lot of people can relate to, as it dives into the innocence of childhood and the struggle of trying to grow up in the modern world.

Eric Hoffer Finalist

My book "Year of the Amphibian" has been listed as a finalist for the 2019 Eric Hoffer Book Awards. Over 1,900 books were entered this year, and less than 10% of the nominees were chosen as category finalists (only 1 - 6 per category), so my book stands with a select few under General Fiction. Thank you Eric Hoffer award!
