A BookLife Review Promotional Video is a custom video optimized for social media using quotes from your BookLife Review.  The video is optimized for both social media posting and social media advertising.

MISSION

The mission of BookLife Review Promotional Videos is to provide authors with a simple, affordable way to harness the power of video and social media to promote their BookLife Reviews and their books.

STRUCTURE

A BookLife Review Promotional Video features the cover of the reviewed book presented with three quotes chosen by the author from the book's BookLife Review. The author also chooses key diesign elements in the video as well as the action button that links to a web address plus a musical clip that accompnies the video.

ELIGIBILITY AND SUBMISSIONS

Any book that has an approved BookLife Review can participate.

BOOKLIFE REVIEW PROMOTIONAL VIDEO TIMING AND PROCESS 

Within one week of an author ordering a BookLife Review Promotional Video, the author will receive email with links to download MP4 versions of the video you created in all three aspect ratios.

At the time of the delivery, if the author has also paid for marketing services related to the video, those services will commence.

There are two different marketing service packages. The cheaper of these pacakges will run for two to three weeks; the more expensive will run for three to four weeks. 

When the marketing service packages are complete, the author will receive an email with a link to the results of the campaign. At that time the author can decide whether or not to renew or continue their campaign, with or without a new video.

INSTRUCTIONS AND FEES

Authors can access the tool to create a BookLife Promotional Video on the project page for their BookLIfe Reviewed book: click on the blue button below the BookLIfe Review publish date that says, "Create a Promotional Video for Your Review." Click here for detailed instructions.

The nonrefundable fee for a BookLife Review Promotional Video is one of the following:

Video Only

  • $197 - this includes the video in three different aspect ratios in MP4 format.

Video and Marketing Services

  • $697 - Viewer Boost Campaign - reaches 25,000 or more potential buyers as part of one target audience. 
  • $1,097 - Supercharged Viewer Boost Campaign - reaches 50,000 or more potential buyers as part of two or three unique target audiences. 
  • The number of people who see the ad is variable based on the interaction with your ad. However, we guarantee the base viewership.

 

BOOKLIFE REVIEW REUSE GUIDE

An orderer can use the BookLife Promotional Video they create through this service wherever and whenever they like. BookLife grants an orderer a non-exclusive, limited license to use the BookLife logo solely as it automatically appears in the video created by this BookLife Review Promotional Video service. Any modifications to the video as created by this service renders this license void and the BookLife logo must be removed from such modified video. 

TERMS, CONDITIONS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Participation in BookLife Review Promotional Videos constitutes an orderer’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Terms, Conditions and Limitation of Liability and all other provisions herein (the “T&Cs”) as well as the BookLife.com Terms & Conditions and the BookLife Reviews Terms & Conditions.

Upon full refund of the order fee in any particular instance, BookLife shall have no obligation, express or implied, to create or market any video, and orderer shall not be entitled to any damages or other relief by reason thereof.

BookLife, its parent companies, sponsors of BookLife Reviews, their respective promotional partners, affiliated companies, agencies and their employees are not responsible for any damage to any computer, network, hardware or software related to or resulting from participation in BookLife Review Promotion Videos and are additionally not liable for injury, losses, damages or costs of any kind resulting from such participation; nor are they responsible for any individual’s inability to order a video and/or marketing campaign, including but not limited to: failed software or hardware transmissions; unavailable network, server, telephone or other connections; errors of any kind, whether human, electronic, or mechanical regarding lost, misdirected, late, incomplete or damaged orders. By participating in BookLife Review Promotional Videos, orderers opt into the use of their registration information in accordance with the BookLife and its parent company’s Privacy Policy and consent to receiving correspondence via telephone and/or email by BookLife and its parent companies.

If a orderer chooses to make a BookLife Review Promotional Video, the orderer authorizes BookLife and its parent company and affiliates to distribute the Video in any media related to BookLife, its parent company, its affiliates, or any other outlets BookLife chooses.  Submitters understand they will receive no compensation of any kind for such distribution of BookLife Review Promotional Videos; the copyright to BookLife Review Promotional Videos is owned by BookLife.

While BookLife Review Promotional Videos are designed to help promote the books featured in them, orderers understand and acknowledge that use of a BookLife Promotional Video does not guarantee results and that orderer will not hold BookLife responsible or liable for results. BookLife expressly disclaims any liability for any content included in any BookLife Review, and by a orderer's voluntary order of a Booklife Review Promotional Video, orderers agree that they shall have no claim or cause of action whatsoever in connection with the content of any Video. Orderers understand that once the orderer orders a video, that review video cannot be made private or retracted in any way.

Participation in BookLife Review Promoitonal Videos is contingent on compliance with the T&Cs. BookLife reserves the right to declare any order ineligible if it is determined not to be in accordance with the T&Cs, BookLife Reviews Terms & Condiitions, and/or BookLife’s Terms and Conditions.

BookLife reserves the right to reject any order for any reason at its sole discretion and will refund the full submission fee for any rejected submission.

REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES OF ENTRANTS

Submitters specifically represent and warrant the following regarding each submission:

The work is original material written or published by the submitter. The submitter is entirely responsible for all content submitted;

The work has not been copied, in whole or in part, from any other work (as written in any language or in any medium, whether now known or hereafter devised) and has not been previously published, produced, or distributed in any audio or visual form, or otherwise exploited in any medium (whether now known or hereafter devised, in whole or in part);

The work does not defame, and does not infringe or violate the right of privacy, right of publicity, copyright, trademark, service mark, trade secret, or any intellectual property, proprietary or other right(s) of, any third party;

The work does not include the name or likeness of any actual person(s), without having obtained the express prior written consent of such person(s) (or of such person’s parent or legal guardian if such person is a minor) in each instance; and

The work meets each of the content requirements found in the T&Cs and the BookLife Terms & Conditions.
