Jean Paetkau is an award winning writer and journalist based out of Victoria, BC. She has recently published her first kids' adventure novel Rumpa and the Snufflewort. Paetkau has received the BC based Leo award for her writing on the Indigenous TV series Tribal Police Files. She works full time for CBC radio as an associated producer and has received both national and provincial RTNDA's for her work as well as a Webster. She has many personal essay published in the national newspaper The Globe and Mail.
