Joy Clausen Soto is the author of the book, "Joy: The story of a dolphin trainer, filmmaker, and cancer survivor." In 2008 she founded the annual Dolphin Interaction Program for patients from Rady Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She is a TEDx speaker and the director and subject of the documentary “Just One Year –A story of triumph over cancer.” Her story has been featured on KUSI, NBC, FOX, ABC, Telemundo, Univision, and NPR. Joy lives in San Diego with her husband and two kids.
