Cardboard Monet showcases the design adventures of award-winning designer, author, publisher & doting wife Ashley Ruggirello.  CM began as a full-service design studio, and while we still provide those services we’ve transitioned into book production as well—including, but not limited to: full, print-ready cover art, interior typesetting, promos and more!

As an avid reader and passionate author, the reason for the transition was simple. Because books are judged by their cover. Period. And they always will be. It’s a competitive environment not unlike the natural world: survival of the fittest, where the strongest and most adaptable reign. To stand out from the rest, you have to understand the environment that surrounds you. And when it comes to publication, your branding is seen first, your words second.
