Adam Siddiq was born in Los Angeles on August 18th, 1992 to Afghan immigrant parents. Adam is the author of the multi-award-winning book, "SHACKLED: A Journey From Political Imprisonment To Freedom", which chronicles his grandfather Khaled's life through all the adversities his family faced in Afghanistan between 1932-1979. Adam is also the author of "The Lover's Rhapsody: Ecstatic Love Poems of Rapture, Awakening, and God", a compilation of poetry he wrote while traveling and visiting sacred sites and the shrines of saints. Adam is the Founder of the largest online community of Rumi fans and has narrated the most amount of Rumi's poems in English, reaching millions of people monthly.
