I have been writing since a young age and graduated as a linguist in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After graduation I travelled to Spain and worked as a translator with the newspaper El País. During that time I joined the Brazilian theatre company Arte Livre do Brasil and travelled for three years on tour with the play Olhares de Perfil (Sideways Glance) which I co-wrote with director Roberto Cordovani. The play won a Special Fringe First Award in Edinburgh Festival and took part in international theatre festivals throughout Europe.
I moved to London in 1989 where I produced and directed three documentaries. I have written for both theatre and film, and my works include both prose and poetry.
I have been living and working in Brighton since April 2009.
The dystopian novel The Vatican Games is my fifth novel and my first in English.
I’m currently working on my first poetry book in English.
