I write books.
Actually I write a lot of stuff.
Most recently I've published The Dust Of Exodus, a science fiction novel. Before that I wrote and photographed my travelogue Stills From The World's Largest Film Set. That one dealt with some time I spent living in New York, where I interned at the world's greatest developmental theatre (Ensemble Studio Theatre of Hell's Kitchen) and (surprise, surprise) wrote and produced a bunch of plays.
Now before that I wrote a lot of theatre reviews, and acted in a lot of plays - highlights include touring to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival back in 2013. I also won awards for short story writing, picking up first prizes at the Winchester Writer's Festival in 2009 and 2011. And back before that when I was an English Student (and Creative Writing) I used to write this column for the Times Higher Education Supplement.
When I'm not writing, or editing or whatever, I work my various day jobs, drive cars with no roofs, windsurf and like that.
Oh yeah, there's another novel coming soon.
