Amethyst Creek resides in Colorado where she enjoys hiking and gardening.  She and her husband met at the University of Denver and have been married since 1972.  They have two sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law and an adorable granddaughter all living in the Denver area.  Amethyst has traveled extensively and is retired from teaching.  Her favorite subject is history.  She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the PEO sisterhood and the Whooping Crane Conservation Association.  She is the author of four historical romance novels.
