Angel Enfinger Crain was born in the Florida Panhandle to a Baptist minister and raised throughout the southeastern United States. After pastoring several small country churches, her father settled down to found a church in Alabama, thus making Alabama the home she would henceforth claim as her own for almost 20 years. As an adult, life moved her and her family from Alabama to Texas, to Louisiana, and then to Washington. She now resides with her husband of 19 years and her four daughters in the tiny town of Tekoa, Washington, nestled in the lush wheat fields of Whitman county. In her debut novel, she uses life experiences and circumstances to create a heart-warming story of one country preacher who takes on the trials, burdens, and blessings of the ministry all while juggling the personal responsibilities of fatherhood, marriage, and caring for aging parents.
