I was born and grew up in Thessaloniki, a historic and inspirational city of North Greece.
As a child I had a creative imagination and I was always making out tales to play with my younger brother, Jim.
In 1989, I got my first degree in nursery and pre-school studies and I was working as a nursery teacher since then until 1992 at I.K. Vellidi organisation.
In 1992 I established my kindergarten called "Our happy team" where I was focused on pre-school education while I was working on the early childhood entertainment at the "The Castle of miracles" : a playground inspired by my desire to stimulate knowledge through play.
Accordingly, my team of teachers and myself presented the "Hellenic Children Museum" educational following programs to various Thessaloniki Junior schools.
" The milk" , "The Olive and Olive Oil","Olympic Games" , "Our teeth" , "karagiozis "Bubbles"
and also"the Olympic Games" created by "Olympic Museum".

From 2006 until 2008 , I was employed as freelance at 'Villarte" art place to support their educational programs by I.M.E. such as "I travel with only one suitcase" along with "Leotihidis and the young archeologists" and " We play Biologically" programs created by me.

Through my journey to youngster education so far, I've written following fairy tales which have been published and received great acceptance from my young readers.

2009 'Franzela's Friends' : a tale talking about three naughty little goats trying to cultivate a
biological farm.

2011 'Franzela's Friends and the biological farm" theater play for childen. it was transferred on Olympic Museum stage 2011-2012.
2011 'Santa Claus and the little ghost' : a funny Christmas related story
2014 "Ένας αστακός ιππότης και ο ιππόκαμPος ο Χιώτης"
2015 ' Lonnie the Lobster Knightand and a Seahorse from the Isle of Wight' : the adventures of a brave lobster my first book translated to English.fylatos publishing.
2015 ' Zoe's little fairies' : a fairy tale dedicated to my beloved niece.

Two new tales are in the process of publishing.

Additionally, I have created the following educational programs for schools.

'We play biologically with Franzela' : a game for biological milk.

' Writer's box ' , 'Write for Writing ' and 'Coloring our words' : workshops to enhance nursery
children's writing.
'I recall Aesop' : a new approach to Aesop fables

'Leotihidis and the young archeologists" a workshop about kids life in Ancient Greece.

'Grandpa's and grandma's chest " : a program for refugees.

'A story, a journey driving us on stage' : a workshop for the theater.

'Books in the mixer' : a game to boost love for reading.

'Guernica of peace' :a game to promote peace in our world.

'Young, older and the fantasy travels to the moon' : for children and their parents

'Is it moving? Yes, it is' : a workshop of 3D animation with exciting educational stories

' Stop the violence, Hug the friendship' ; a program against sport violence.


I'm a member and coordinator of the reading club ' The company of a book' of Kalamaria's (my home town) libraries. I've been a volunteer of the 'Future Library' campaign for creative reading since 2012. I also work with nurseries and junior state and private schools for the presentation of my educational programs, workshops and books. I'm also excited to follow theater courses at 'Andrea Voutsina' theater school.
I love to dig out different, exciting heroes from my imagination and give them life on paper- writing tales, theater plays and scenarios for kid's movies. I enjoy to discover and dream new stories along with my young friends at my workshops of creative writing, 3d animation, educational programs.
I strongly believe that through our civilization and art we can present and provide a better world to our kids. Through my experience of being so close with youngsters so many years , I've learn that
our children don't respond to just a plain lesson but to role models which have the power to instill and inspire the values of life needed for someone to be happy.
In a few days ,my new book will be on the bookshelves. I hope you enjoy the adventure only a book can create to our imagination with me .
