Author biography Angel Gonzal

Angel Gonzal is an artist and published author of short stories and a children’s book. Although as a child in the Philippines he wrote in the genres of horror, thriller, action, and adventure, these days, he is focused on writing drama.

Angel belongs to several writing groups, including Writers and Authors, Author & Book Promotions, Goodreads, Aspiring Authors United, and Writer to Writer. His work has been entered in international writing contests.

“I love the concept of reeling readers into my story,” he says. “Having them emotionally involved is a powerful thing. I write based on my experiences and observations I make of people. I think emotions play a big role in creating plots and characters.”

Angel Gonzal has been writing and drawing for almost four decades. Previous works include Light, The Last Great Mission, The Old Purple Box with a Pink Ribbon, and Stone. He is currently working on a novel that should be completed by late-2023.

Mr. Gonzal, a US Army veteran, resides in the United States with his wife and two daughters. He still hones his craft to this day through virtual conferences and online lessons.
