Hi, I’m Ann Marie Hannon and I've written several award-winning children’s book that trend toward new, different, but realistic, approaches for kids with worries and how they can learn how to solve some normal, but critical for a kid, life experiences.
My books, so far, include: “All About a Boy Who Was Afraid of the Dark (and how he got over it)”, “A Going Home Surprise”, “Puffy and the Formidable Foe”, “The First Day of School” ,“All About a Boy Who Was Afraid of Thunder (and how he got over it)”.and most recently "The Power of a Flower."
I’m no Dr. Suess, or Emily Dickinson, but so far, my published books have all received world-wide, prestigious Mom’s Choice Awards (MCA) Seal of Excellence for family friendly media and reviewers compare me to Richard Scarry and Charles Schultz.
I am a trained, certified Mediator, and my mediator training is an important influence in my writing and my books with ways to achieve important problem-solving solutions.
I also written award-winning poetry and my recent screenplay writing for a “Dear Grandma Annie" animated film is also an important, different, but very exciting way to communicate.
