Annabel Maxwell lives in Sydney, Australia, with her mum, dad, and younger brother. She enjoys writing, drawing, and painting. Annabel initially wrote The Wish Tree as a short story for homework. Then while in Year 3, Annabel set her mind to publishing the piece as an Early Reader for a school project.
