Antigone graduated from the University of Rio Grande do Sul State with Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and briefly worked as a Press Secretary. In the U.S., she attended Fresno State University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology. She studied at Fullerton State University and graduated with a Masters in Anthropology. She then attended the University of Cambridge, U.K., for her M.Phil in Biological Anthropology and Doctoral studies in Prehistoric and Evolutionary Archaeology.
Antigone went to France to study the lithic assemblages of Neanderthals and prehistoric humans. She was an Anthropology Professor (Adjunct-Faculty) at Napa Valley College, Napa, California. Courses taught at Napa College: Intro. Biological Anthropology & Laboratory, Intro. Cultural Anthropology, Anthropology of Childhood, Anthropology of Religion, Linguistic Anthropology.
