April Griffith is an inspirational speaker, mindset strategist and wellness coach. After years of working in Higher Education and Corporate America at one of the largest financial institutions in the world, April realized through her expanded work with several internal groups, she had helped shape the lives of many professionals. This sparked a passion inside and launched her entrepreneurial career birthing Kingdom Power Living LLC with the mission of changing lives one temple at a time!
In April’s mindset, combined with health and wellness work, she helps her clients lose weight by leaning on their faith. April challenges her clients to invite God in on the journey, leading to lasting change and the kingdom lifestyle they deserve. A sought-after emcee, moderator, panelist and speaker, April has led thought provoking interviews with brilliant minds such as Mellody Hobson and Maria Pinto, and opening emcee for Nick Cannon’s Chicago Girls and Boys Club Entrepreneur Competition.
April is active in her church, where she’s mentored dozens of college students and currently mentors elementary school kids with the Wood Family Foundation. She has served on a number of steering and leadership committees around diversity and women’s issues, including the board for the Chicago Chapter National Black MBA Association, Inc. April was a previous NBMBAA local and national scholarship recipient and a recipient of Diversity MBA’s 100 Under 50 Emerging Leaders.
April holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Communication from Northwest Missouri State University, and a Master of Science in Marketing Communication from IIT’s Stuart School of Business, where she was Valedictorian and Class Speaker. She is a native of Chicago, sports enthusiast, and avid volunteer with organizations like Junior Achievement, Habitat Chicago, and Chicago Cares.
