Barbara Jean Ruther, is the author of her fifth book, adult literary fiction, The Lives of Cat, Time Passes and Life Changes, the story of danger, hostility, murder, revenge, friendships, love and romance.
Barbara is the author of the novel The Strawberry Field, the story of love, deceit, mystery, murder and hate. She is also the author of the novel Saving Snowflakes in My Pocket. Barbara has written non-fiction, Dirt Roads and Places They Take You, Poetry and Memoirs, a finalist in The New Mexico-Arizona Book Awards. Barbara’s poems and essays have been published in numerous small press, including Avalon Literary Review, Arizona Quarterly, Sing Heavenly Muse, The Santa Fe Pasatiempo, print and online.
Barbara was a Corporate Speaker and Writer in Public Relations, for a major world airline. She wrote destination travel programs and gave presentations and seminars to travel groups.
She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, attended University of New Mexico, has lived in New York and Chicago, now back home living in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
