I was born in a small lumber town in southern Oregon to a half Okinawan mother and a Kansan farmer. As a child we moved to a suburb of Portland, OR where I attended Mt. Hood Community College. I have worked in retail and the airline industry. While I briefly lived in Houston, TX my current home is in Chicago. Prior to COVID-19 I traveled extensively throughout Europe and parts of Asia. This is my first novel.
