Bill Richardson is an author, artist, filmmaker and one of the world’s foremost authorities on the Hatfield McCoy Feud. He has written, produced and directed feature films, documentaries and TV series. He’s done book and magazine covers and published fiction and non-fiction via Random House and other publishers. He has appeared on American Pickers, Mysteries at the Museum, America: Fact vs Fiction, CBS This Morning, CBS Sunday Morning, National Geographic’s Diggers, the Discovery Network’s Blood Feuds, NPR’s All things Considered and many others. He has been quoted in hundreds of newspapers including the New York Times, USA Today, the Washington Post and London Times. He’s been a featured speaker nationally and internationally. His work has been supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and is in the U.S. Library of Congress holdings. His documentaries films are being used as teaching tools at prestigious universities such as Carnegie Mellon, UC Berkeley, Marquette, Penn State.and others.
