Bill Prentice is a crime fiction writer whose debut novel, WHY WAS RACHEL MURDERED?, was released in December 2018 and shortlisted by the Crime Writers of Canada as one of Canada's best first-crime novels. Formerly a freelance writer, he specialized in international trade and investment marketing, economic development and public policy. A previous thriller, set in the global medical marijuana industry, was shortlisted by the Crime Writers of Canada as one of the best unpublished crime novels of 2015. He lives in Toronto, Canada.
