Brian James Gage was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, and has been living in Los Angeles, California most of his adult life.

In addition to writing, he is an entrepreneur, investor, fitness enthusiast, and aspiring classical pianist enrolled at The French Conservatory of Music in West Los Angeles.
