An avid outdoorsman, Bruce Miles has enjoyed a career path that brings a wide range of experiences and timeliness to his novels and non-fiction work. The author discovered creative writing in middle school and progressed to writing for high school and college newspapers and literary journals.  He has had articles published in outdoor magazines and wrote travel reviews as a content provider.  Dark Hearts in the Forest is his third novel. Following college Mr. Miles enjoyed careers in mid-market television broadcasting, videography for industry training, public school classroom teaching, and is currently working with film and broadcast journalism students at the university level.  He earned a Master of Science in Education after earning a Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television and Film.
