Camille Brown is an award-winning filmmaker. She is a graduate of UCLA’s prestigious School of Theater, Film and Television. She earned her Masters of Arts in Film Studies from National University. Before going into the entertainment industry, she studied biochemistry and was a pharmaceutical scientist and a researcher for a pediatric neurosurgeon. Camille is an AFI DWW alum, a fellow of the Ryan Murphy Half Initiative, and an active member of the Producers Guild of America as well as the Writers Guild of America. Her love of children's storytelling spawned when she volunteered at her church for seven years preparing first and second-graders for their first holy communion. Casey’s Pet Detective Agency: The Case of the Colorful Cockatiel is her first solo children’s picture book.
