Casey Morley is an author, speaker, business owner, lifestyle-change coach, single mother, and true survivor. She has worked throughout her adult life to emerge from a lifetime of abuse, and she chronicles her journey in her book, Crawling Out.
Casey believes that everyone has within them the strength and power to begin their own courageous journey of crawling out. Not afraid to be vulnerable, she speaks her innermost thoughts and fears with complete, raw honesty. Casey teaches not only victims, but also those who stand on the sidelines in judgment so that the questions, “Why didn't you just leave?” and “What took you so long?” will never be asked again.
Her mission is to educate the masses and to eliminate the ignorance of how widespread the problem of domestic violence is. Casey advocates that we need to teach our children – how to have good relationships, how to be wise parents, how to live healthy, and how to love. She is often heard saying, “Together we can make a difference” and end the insidious cycle of child abuse.
Her work has been endorsed by President Obama, and has been featured in Woman's World magazine and numerous local newspapers; on WFSB Channel 3, WTNH8/CT STYLE, Fox 61 News. She has also been featured in local magazines, appeared on the Massachusetts local cable show Be My Guest, Connecticut Kids Korner, radio talk shows, and in the Turning Point anthology. She nudges her readers and followers to see things in a new light, helping them move forward on their path of personal growth, healing, and forgiveness. Casey blogs at www.caseymorley.com and www.crawlingout.net. She resides in Connecticut with her son, Michael.
