Catherine Butterfield began her career as a stage actress and eventually turned to writing. She is the author of ten published plays that have been produced in the US and abroad.  She has written and produced for television, film, and her YouTube channel. She lives in Santa Monica, California with her husband, Ron West.  “The Serpent and the Rose” is her first novel.
