Cathy was born into the U.S. Air Force life in Louisiana. As such, life has taken her to Idaho, Kauai, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Missouri.
Her life revolves around family and outside of writing, other passions include painting oceans, research, flower gardens, reading non-fiction, true crime, and travel.
She recently published Stranger in the Window, a true crime book about a 1941 cold case of 24-year-old victim, Leila A. Welsh. This was a project she spent nearly 13 years researching and writing.
