Christine Henneberg MD MS is a practicing physician in the Bay Area. She holds a BA in English and Creative Writing from Pomona College and an MD-MS from the UCSF-UC Berkeley Joint Medical Program. Her essay adapted from BOUNDLESS, “When An Abortion Doctor Becomes A Mother,” was published in The New York Times. Other essays have appeared in The New York Review of Books, Boston Review, Slate, HuffPost, the San Francisco Chronicle, and StatoRec. Stories from her medical training have appeared in multiple medical journals.
