Christopher Stanton received a BFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University and an MFA in Screenwriting from the University of Southern California. His novel Kings of the Earth, the story of a haunted surfing town on Lake Michigan, and The Underachiever: Collected Stories (2000-2010) are available on Amazon. His short stories have been published in numerous literary magazines and he created the graphic novel Nick Pope, illustrated by the late Christopher Darling. His favorite writers include Raymond Carver, Larry Brown, Willy Vlautin, Stephen King and Tove Jansson.
He is also an artist and has shown his paintings and drawings in dozens of exhibitions across the United States. He especially admires the work of David Hockney, Fairfield Porter, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Trina Schart Hyman.
