Criss was born and raised in Cleveland by a family who lived on coffee, laughter, and shenanigans. Leaving home at 17 to join the Army, she spent her 20s and early 30s traveling the world.

Now, her travels landed her in Alaska with her husband, son, and (cute as a button) french bulldog.

Living her life a Horror/Thriller fan, there was one goal Criss wanted to achieve... write her book.
It all started with a dream. There is a full chapter in her first book War Between the Flames dedicated to that exact dream and what started her journey.
