Cynthia E. Garner has had an interest in Latin culture since her first Spanish lessons as a child, and the adoption of her brother and sister from El Salvador in 1984. She is a Fulbright Scholar, a frequent traveler to Central America, an anthropologist and professional contract archaeologist, a fluent Spanish speaker, a teacher, and a graduate from the Goucher College MFA in Creative Nonfiction program. Currently, Cynthia lives in Colorado, where she studies Counseling Psychology and somatic therapies and incorporates storytelling, soul work, mindfulness and massage into her healing practice. Her goal is to assist clients in telling their stories as a pathway to emotional and spiritual health, and as a way of connecting with the larger human story that we all share.
