Darlene Pryor was born in the Panama Canal Zone, but as part of a military family, she lived in both Alabama and Germany while growing up. She has a bachelor’s degree in corrections and a master’s in public administration.
Pryor is a mother of five sons and a breast cancer survivor, and she uses her life experiences to write inspirational stories of redemption and restoration. She enjoys reading good books and exercising, and she hopes one day to be both a marathon runner and public speaker.
Dreams of Tamar, Pryor’s debut novel, came to fruition after much prayer, study, soul-searching, and more than a decade of waiting on the Lord. Her second book, Dreams of Her Father, is in the works.
Pryor currently lives in Lancaster, California
