Darrell Mulch is a registered Landscape Architect in Portland, Oregon. He graduated with a degree in Biology in 1980, and a Masters of Landscape Architecture in 1988 from the University of Oregon. He loves the outdoors, and is an avid skier and fly-fisherman. He does the graphics and photography for his books as well as the writing. His prose is rooted in the relationships between nature and man with a focus on its spiritual connections, yet compiled with a (down to earth) and humorous slant.
Frank Amato Publications published his first book in 2001 "Reading Water: An Illustrated Guide to Hydrodynamics and the Fly".
Darrell has now published his first novel "NAGAH AND THE THUNDEREGG".
It received a good review from Kirkus, renowned for their integrity and brutally honest appraisals.
"A witty, Rabelaisian road story about one man's search for what matters." - Kirkus Reviews
