Author and international speaker Dave Lanyon has been the driving force behind the explosive growth of the Modern Mystery School since he joined the organization in 2004. In his few short years at the helm, the school has expanded from 12 countries to 55 with his efforts. 

He retired early from the corporate world and after having run several of his own successful enterprises, Dave brings a wealth of experience to his students and projects. He bridges the worlds of Hermetics, metaphysics and spirituality with practical and intelligent wisdom that can be universally applied.

You Are Not Perfect The Way You Are, Dave’s first book published in 2022, is a compilation of the practical, actionable steps people can take in their lives to understand themselves better. As a life-long martial artist, athlete and instructor with many certifications and accreditations, Dave leans into challenge with a resilient warrior mindset.
