David B. Jai is a debut novelist who's authored, "As I Am," a rigid story about a young man struggling to find love and acceptance from family and God. To date, this novel has received rave reviews.  He is also the founder and president of Just Me Media Group LLC, a publishing company for indie authors, photographers and media professionals desiring a break into the publishing arena.        

     David is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, Black African American Association of Christian Counselors, Psi Chi - International Honor Society and Salute - a national honor society for veterans.  In addition, David has served in the United States Navy, an active member of the American Legion, and received numerous awards and accolades.  Most of all he is a survivor.  

​      Currently, David has two children and lives in Indianapolis, Indiana but frequents his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.  His motto is, "No where you find yourself in life; just know that God is going to come through."
