D. E. Stockman was reared in the Midwest and after serving in the military, graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a BA. He has been involved in various aspects of the graphic arts business, mostly as a graphic designer and at times as a writer for various publication printers, an e-zine, and book publishers. David researched the history of a French frigate, la Renommée for over a decade and recounts the fascinating story of the ship’s historical characters in his recent novel, The Ship’s Carpenter, the debut book in the historical series Tween Sea & Shore. David lives near Chicago.
