Diana Lee Mercer is a chef, baker, and art dealer after retiring from a twenty-five-year career as a divorce attorney and mediator. It was in that practice that she discovered a love of writing. She has co-authored two non-fiction books, Your Divorce Advisor (Scribner 2001) and Making Divorce Work (Perigee 2010). Cooking School, A Love Story, is her first novel. She is a Bundt cake aficionado and makes a mean chocolate chip cookie. Diana graduated from Indiana University and the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in California, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New York and before the Supreme Court of the United States. As an art dealer, she represents Kevin Teare. A widow, she lives in Indianapolis with her sassy pug mix, Eloise, a whoodle named Sir Winston, and a couple of annoying cats.
