I'm a semi-retired doc who loves science fiction, so I tried my hand at it. Good science fiction (hopefully that applies to my work) is not so much about powerful machines, faster than light travel, and aliens, but how people think and act in strange environments. I've also come to love my adopted state, Maine, and setting my story in my backyard, so to speak, adds interest and flavor.
