Elana McDougall was probably born with a book in her hand. A voracious reader, her tastes ricochet between mysteries, fantasies and historical thrillers. Since retiring from teaching rambunctious thirteen-year-olds, she enjoys travelling to places like Guatemala where she eagerly practises her appalling Spanish. Her eyes are blue and her hair, thanks to her hairdresser’s dedication, remains red; all else is in flux.
