Over the past 11 years, she's averaged three whole days a week alone hiking and meditating with the ancient trees, experiencing deep peace, communion with nature intelligences, and numerous wild animal encounters. She's worked as a piano, creative writing, and elementary school teacher as well as raising two beautiful daughters. Ellen lives with her husband and dog.
