Ericka Harris was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL. She is a single mom of two children. She served in the U.S. Army and separated honorably believing it was God leading her in a different direction. She also felt led by God to write on her experience of her deployment to Iraq, in which she did, in her first published book. She hopes that through this book others will be encouraged and draw closer to God from where they are in their personal/spiritual life with Him.
