Frederic Du Chau was born in Belgium where he grew up reading comic books and watching movies. After graduating the Academy of fine arts in Ghent he went to Hollywood where he worked as an animator and storyboard artist for people like Chuck Jones and several of the big studios. After selling a few screenplays he got his chance to direct a couple of family films for WB and Disney usually featuring kids, animals and lots of visual effects. He recently returned to the drawingboard to make his first graphic novel, Ameluna Climate Detective Agency for kids 9-12.
