G.K. Johnson lives in the Southwest with her husband and son. Always an avid reader, fond memories of frequent bike rides to her local library, where gracious librarians fed her appetite, wedge themselves into the making of this author. For years she dreamed of writing a book like the ones that captured her imagination. Her life was turned upside down when her husband introduced her to overseas travel, opening her eyes to a whole new world and fresh writing inspiration. On a trip to Israel and Jordan in 2018 she fell in love with the land of the Bible. Following that adventure, her daily Scripture readings took on a new depth and fascination that inspired The Zealots. She continues to enjoy reading, writing, and studying Biblical history. The Zealots is her first novel.
