George Lamore spent a good part of his early life living in different countries around the world as his father's job required. He experienced many wonderful places, cultures and, of course, some fantastic adventures. Later he spent many summers working in Yosemite National Park in the back country where he fell in love with climbing on the wild granite cliffs in the high country. A good deal of his writing draws inspiration from these experiences. Currently he lives near South Lake Tahoe, California, in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains with my wife, daughters, two doggies, and a kitty. The wilderness in his backyard is a great playground where he still dabbles in a variety of outdoor activities like mountain biking, hiking, and skiing. The thrill of seeing wildlife like deer, black bears, coyotes, and occasionally a bobcat doesn't hurt either.
