Gordon Whitesmith was a news reporter on two continents before being sucked into the maws of several of the early computing start-ups that formed the foundations of today's digital world.
Whitesmith currently contracts with a strangely secretive organization (company? agency cut out? government contractor? non-profit? some mutant hybrid of the aforementioned?) that is doing what appears to be white hat security work or, alternatively, might be the unfocused and grandiose idea of some Silicon Valley millionaire to help the world through yet more technology.
