Gregory Urbach was raised in Burbank and attended school at California State University- Northridge, where he worked for a campus newspaper. He began publishing science fiction in 2004, though is most well-known work is Custer at the Alamo, an alternate history / time travel adventure. In recent years he has been expanding into new genres, including the detective story, Dashiell Hammett and the Hearst Castle Mystery. He lives in Reseda, California.
