I grew up in rural Maryland. I spent many warm summer days on the Chesapeake Bay, exploring the waters and Islands in the area. My books are centered around that area and feature events in various periods of history. My own love story unfolded on the shores of the Chesapeake. I live in New Market with my blended family of seven—yes, SEVEN children. I love to take the reader through time and place them on the sandy shore of the Chesapeake Bay.
