Heather Allen lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana with her husband, three children and a very ornery spaniel.  She is a speech language pathologist with a passion for music and literature. At a recent family reunion, she was offered a life changing opportunity: a chance to help fulfill a vow and tell her aunt's story. This memoir is Heather Allen's first book. 

Siv Eng is a talented seamstress from Anaheim, California who lives with her husband and mother, YoKuy. She has not lost her love of fashion and enjoys spending time with her children and three grandchildren. Siv Eng is a survivor of the killing fields in Cambodia from 1975-1979. In the memoir, she bravely shares the depth of suffering, the love of family and the power of hope amidst darkness.
