His first book, Daddy Cool, led him to television where he wrote comedy and drama, including scripts for The Cosby Show, L.A Law, and thirtysomething. He has worked as a commentator for National Public Radio and in the magazine business, both as an editor and as a contributor. He has written three regular columns on family life and on subjects ranging from health and medicine to marriage and golf. He has written six books – five now available, and one coming soon.
