J.A. McGovern is an award winning author/poet of literary anthology Perception - lead his sixteen member artistic team, Different Leaves, Same Root, and curated a 288 page collection containing: poetry, short stories, photography, and illustrations.  Words Left Unspoken, Finalist for the Amity Literary Prize, is J.A. McGovern's first solo collection of poetry.

Also, McGovern is an established independent filmmaker who has screened and earned honors in Academy Award Qualifying Film Festivals and won an American Songwriting Award in Folk Music with the title song of short film, "All Over Again".
