Jacob Johnson is an animal behavior PhD candidate at UC Davis studying the behavior of birds in extreme environments, and works as an instructor and teaching assistant for ecology and conservation courses. He received his B.A. in the History and Philosophy of Science with honors from the University of Chicago. In his spare time, he is also a professional saxophone player, avid songwriter, and renowned Dungeon Master.
